Insane.

There are tries… and then there are moments that feel like they belong in a different sport entirely. Louis Bielle-Biarrey produced exactly that as Union Bordeaux Bègles tore Leicester Tigers apart in the Champions Cup on Saturday.

Receiving the ball deep, with defenders set and space at a premium, there looked to be nothing on. But Bielle-Biarrey doesn’t see pictures the way most players do. One step — gone. A second — defenders clutching at air. Then came the afterburners.

What makes this one special isn’t just the pace, it’s the composure. At full tilt, he glides through contact, shrugs off the cover, and somehow keeps his balance as Leicester scramble desperately to shut the door. They never get close.

Within seconds, the entire defensive line is beaten. The cover is gone. And Bielle-Biarrey is in, finishing a solo effort that will be replayed for years.

It was the perfect snapshot of a player operating on a completely different level.

Already one of the most lethal finishers in the game — and fresh off a record-breaking Six Nations campaign — this was something else entirely. This was instinct, speed and confidence all rolled into one outrageous moment.

Bordeaux were already in control on the scoreboard in a game they would go on to dominate heavily , but this try was the one that left people talking.

Because every now and then, a player produces something that reminds you why you watch rugby in the first place.

And this was one of those moments.
