Former Ireland, Munster and Lions hooker Keith Wood has been appointed to Munster’s non-executive commercial board.
Wood has been added to the 17-strong board as native province look to strengthen their earning power and commercial strength off the pitch.
The commercial board was established in 2013 to provide strategic guidance, advice and support to Munster’s existing branch committee structures and management team and is chaired by Niall FitzGerald.
Wood played for Munster and Harlequins during an illustrious playing career that saw the hooker amass 58 caps for his country as well as starring on the 1997 and 2001 Lions tours.
