Beautiful.
Ireland outhalf Johnny Sexton channelled his his inner Ronan O’Gara yesterday evening, with an absolute monster drop-goal to clinch victory over France.
The Leinster playmaker managed to keep his cool, after 41 incredible phases, before slotting the ball through the posts from a whopping 42 metres out. Ireland thought they had lost it when Teddy Thomas grabbed a try just minutes earlier, but the men in green dug deep.
It’s set to go down as one of the greatest match-winners in Irish Rugby history, and it’s even better to watch when it’s set to the music from Titanic.
Sit back, relax and enjoy it. Poetry in motion.
