James Haskell Reportedly Set To Sign For One Of These Two Clubs

Wanted man.

James Haskell is set to end his long association with Wasps at the end of the current season, with the Premiership side opting not to renew the England international’s contract.

Haskell, who toured with the Lions in New Zealand this summer, has revealed that he hopes to continue playing in the Premiership. The 75-times capped back-row wants to remain eligible for England, so he can fight for a spot in the squad for the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

It appears Haskell will get his wish, with one current, and one future Premiership side reportedly in the running for him. According to the lads over on on The Rugby Pod (Jim Hamilton, Andy Goode), Haskell is wanted by both Northampton and Bristol.

“Northampton again is rearing its head,” Andy Goode told the podcast.

“Bristol is an option, but I think he wants a higher level. I don’t mean that badly against Bristol but he wants to compete, in the top six. Hopefully with Chris Boyd coming next year and couple of signing they can make a difference.”

Who do you think Haskell will sign for? Sound off in the comments.
