Not long to go now.
Munster and Connacht have organised to play each other in a closed training match before their pre-season schedule kick in next week.
Rassie Erasmus’ men will travel to Galway on Friday night, before flying across to channel next week to take on some familiar faces in Peter Stringer and Donncha O’Callaghan’s Worcester Warriors on August 24.
Connacht on the other hand will travel to Coventry to take on Dai Young’s Wasps on August 23 in their first pre-season game.
Following the Wasps fixture, all eyes will be on the Sportsground on Saturday August 26 when recently departed Connacht head coach Pat Lam brings his Bristol side to Galway for a highly-anticipated final pre-season clash.
