Munster and Ulster are both reportedly in the market for Irish-qualified outhalf Jamie Benson, with interest building in the Harlequins playmaker ahead of next season.
The 23-year-old, who can also slot in at centre and fullback, has been developing within the Harlequins setup and is understood to be firmly on the radar of both provinces as they assess their options at 10.
According to Bernard Jackman in The Irish Independent, both Munster and Ulster have made approaches for the Irish-qualified out-half as they look to add depth to their squad.
Still early in his senior career, he has picked up experience across Premiership and Cup competitions, while also being involved in England A training setups, highlighting the regard he’s held in across the water.
But with both provinces circling, it’s a situation worth watching closely over the coming weeks.
