The IRFU investigation into Bundee Aki’s conduct following his three-match ban for verbally abusing a match official has concluded.
Aki was dropped by Ireland just days before their Six Nations opener with France, before being subsequently banned for four games.
According to The Irish Independent, Aki will face no further action and is free to return for the final two games of the Six Nations.
Aki has reportedly apologised for his actions, with the union deeming this to be satisfactory enough, with the 35-year-old free to play against Wales next month in Ireland’s penultimate fixture of the championship.
Head coach Andy Farrell revealed earlier in the week that it was not his decision to drop Aki from the squad.
