Here we go.

Ireland will face the Wallabies and Japan in Australia during the first section of the inaugural Nations Championship next year, before travelling to New Zealand to take on the All Blacks.

Andy Farrell’s men will then host South Africa, Argentina, and Fiji at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin next November, before a finals weekend, which is set to be held in London.

The Nations Championship was officially confirmed this morning and will take place every two years, in between Lions tours and the Rugby World Cup.

The exciting new competition is divided into two conferences, with the Six Nations teams accounting for the Northern side of the draw and the Rugby Championship teams, plus Fiji and Japan, on the Southern side of the draw.

The top-ranked teams from the North and South will battle it out in the final, with the winners set to lift the inaugural Nations Championship.
