Ireland have been hit with a major injury blow ahead of the Six Nations, Round 3 clash with Wales at the Principality Stadium next weekend.
Skipper Caelan Doris looks set to be sidelined for that game, with The Irish Independent reporting that he is struggling with a knee injury picked up in the win over Scotland last weekend.
Doris has started and skippered Ireland in the opening two games and his absence will come as a huge blow to interim head coach Simon Easterby.
Jack Conan would likely be the man to fill the void at number eight should Doris be unavailable.
