French giants Racing 912 have released a huge statement on the future of Springboks captain Siya Kolisi following weeks of speculaiton.
Kolisi’s contract has officially been terminated after just one year in Paris with the Top 14 side.
The two-time Rugby World Cup winner’s contract was due to run out in 2026 but Racing have agreed to terminate it early.
“Siya Kolisi and Racing 92 announce that they have mutually agreed to terminate the contract that linked the South African third row to the sky and white club until 2026,” a statement read.
“Both parties thank each other for the sporting moments spent together under the sky and white jersey and wish each other much success in the rest of their sporting careers.”
Multiple reports suggest Kolisi will rejoin the Sharks in the URC after the end of the Rugby Championship.
