Boom.
Ireland winger Keith Earls looks set to give Munster a huge boost ahead of their crucial Champions Cup semi-final clash with Racing 92 on Sunday, by declaring himself fit.
Earls was one of the stars of Ireland’s Six Nations campaign, but limped off with a serious looking knee injury in the Grand Slam win over England at Twickenham.
He was initially slated to be out for at least six weeks, but The Irish Independent are reporting the Limerick man is way ahead of schedule in terms of his comeback, and looks set to be available for the trip to Bordeaux.
Earls will still need to hit his markers this week, but early indications are said to be hugely positive. Absolutely fantastic news.
