Former England International Turned Pundit Spent £10k At Brothel That Serves Cocaine

Brothel.

Former England international Lawrence Dallaglio spent £10,000 in a brothel offering cocaine and ‘high-class’ prostitutes, a court has heard.

The former England captain turned rugby pundit used his own bank cards to make payments at the brothel, it was alleged. Dallaglio was interviewed under caution by police in the presence of a solicitor.

But the number eight was not arrested and declined to make any comment over the purpose of his expenditure and no further action was taken against him.

His alleged visit to the establishment emerged during a trial of a gang accused of supplying £300-an-hour prostitutes as well as Class A drugs, including cocaine.

The brothel, in Holborn, central London, was raided and shut down by police in July. A bag of bank card receipts was found hidden behind the panelling in a basement toilet.

Dallaglio’s name emerged as detectives trawled through 180,000 transactions, a jury heard.

Prosecutor Hugh Forgan said:

“It wasn’t just sex that was for sale there. We say cocaine was also available as well and it is an offence to run a brothel and to sell the Class A drug cocaine.”
