England’s Charlie Ewels Red-Carded After Just One Minute Following Nasty Head Clash With Ireland’s James Ryan

England’s Six Nations meeting with Ireland has gotten off to the worst of starts for the home side following a red-card after just 82 seconds.

The second-row came in high on his lock counterpart James Ryan with just over a minute on the clock, clashing heads with the Leinsterman and forcing him off the pitch.

House of Rugby is back with a brand new URC show – hosted by RugbyLAD founder Jason Hennessy, Ireland international Megan Williams and Olympic sevens star, Greg O'Shea. Follow and subscribe to it HERE.

Following a review, the officials were left with no choice but to send off Ewels.

Minutes later Ireland bagged the opening try of the game through James Lowe and currently lead 8-0.
