Eddie Jones Names 36-Man Squad For Six Nations Opener With Italy

Not long to go now.

England head coach Eddie Jones has named a 36-man squad that ahead of their opening NatWest Six Nations match against Italy. England begin the defence of their title in Rome on February 4.

Following last week’s training camp in Portugal, 34 players have been retained. James Haskell (Wasps) and Joe Marler (Harlequins) will also join up with the squad, however both are unavailable for selection due to suspension.

There are eight uncapped players included in the squad including apprentice outhalf Marcus Smith. Alex Lozowski replaces the injured Henry Slade.
