Clermont wing David Strettle is set to leave the French giants at the end of the season when his contract runs out, in favour of a move back to Saracens, according to a report in The Rugby Paper this morning.
The former Harlequins star spent five seasons at Saracens, before moving to France three years ago with Clermont where he’s become a crowd favourite.
Strettle however, has been unable to agree terms on a new deal with Clermont, and despite interest from Pat Lam’s cash-rich Bristol, will return to his former club.
