International ambitions.
England and Wasps playmaker Danny Cipriani looks set to stay in the Aviva Premiership next season after earning an international recall earlier this week.
Cipriani was selected in an Eddie Jones squad for the first time ahead of England’s tour to South Africa, and now looks set to reject a big money move to France or Japan with his contract with Wasps set to run out at the end of the season.
The Times are reporting that Cipriani has signed a deal with Johan Ackermann’s Gloucester ahead of next season as he looks to keep his international career on track ahead of next year’s Rugby World Cup in Japan.
An excellent signing for Gloucester if true, and a smart move by Cipriani to stay in England.
