Proud.
Danny Cipriani was yesterday named in an England starting line-up for the first time in ten years, as the Red Rose look to bounce back from two straight defeats to the Springboks in South Africa.
The talented playmaker had an incredible season for Wasps, forcing Eddie Jones to select him in his summer touring squad, having overlooked him completely previously throughout his tenure as England boss.
Cipriani says the mistakes he’s made and the lessons he has learned have helped him to try and become a better person. He hopes when his time is up he’ll have a good message for all young aspiring sports stars.
“The mistakes I’ve made, the lessons I’ve learned – I’ve tried to become a better person.” Cipriani told BBC’s Chris Jones.
“Hopefully I’ll have a good message for young sportsmen when my time is up.”
”I’m very excited to go out and play for England.”
“This is the whole reason I’ve ever played rugby, to represent my country and I couldn’t be more proud right now.”
