Galway bound.
Connacht are closing in on former Australian U-20 out-half Andrew Deegan ahead of the new season according to reports in the Irish Independent this morning. Deegan will come in as a replacement for former Springbok playmaker Marnitz Boshoff, who has departed after just one season.
Deegan is a promising prospect who last year was drafted into the Waratahs development squad. The 22-year-old played for the Australian schoolboys in 2013 and was the Aussie outhalf at the World Rugby U-20 Championship in Italy.
Some good business by Connacht if they can pull off the deal.
