Connacht Rugby have issues a devastating update on Ireland winger, Mack Hansen.
Hansen underwent surgery in December to rectify a longstanding foot problem, and the western province have revealed that he will likely not play again this season.
The injury rules Hansen out for the entirety of the Six Nations in a major blow to Andy Farrell who is already dealing with a long list of injuries.
“It will be tight. It will be a struggle, I think,” Connacht head coach Stuart Lancaster said when asked if Hansen would play again this season.
Hansen returned to action for Ireland in November, scoring a hat-trick inside the first thirty minutes, and will be a huge loss for both club and country.
Wishing Mack all the best in his recovery.
