Seven games to go and Connacht are top of the PRO12.
The Irish province for some reason however still cannot seem to shake the feeder club moniker that has been bestowed upon them for a long time despite their progress since renowned coach Pat Lam took over.
News broke of Robbie Henshaw’s move to Leinster last week on top of the news a few weeks back that Rodney Ah You would be joining Ulster. Now it seems the league leaders may lose versatile forward Aly Muldowney to the Top 14, with French media reporting the 32 year old is being pursued by Bernard Jackman’s Grenoble.
Muldowney signed a three-year contract when he joined from Exeter Chiefs in 2013 and that deal runs out at the end of the season. Pat Lam will be hoping the player can resist the lures of France and sign a new deal with Connacht but apparently he is keen on testing himself in the Top 14.
And @midi_olympique says that Grenoble are also after Connacht lock Aly Muldowney, who allegedly wants a new challenge in France
