Reports emanating from Wales suggest that Alun Wyn Jones is set to be offered a contract worth £500,000 per year by Top 14 leaders, Clermont Auvergne.
Wales Online believe that the 30 year old lock is wanted by Clermont after impressing against the French side with the Ospreys last weekend.
Jones was previously offered the chance to play with the French giants when his contract was last up for renewal and they have come calling again.
In a recent Jones revealed:
There’s a factor of an international career that could be affected with a certain decision. Then there are also other competitions and other experiences that I might want to taste.
Toulon are also said to be interested in Jones, having been linked with the Ospreys player earlier this year. However, Wales fans will remain hopeful that Jones signs another national contract.
