Wales may have come out on top in Cardiff this afternoon but when it comes to the battle of the number eights – CJ Stander certainly gave Taulupe Faleatau something to think about.
When the pair toured with the British and Irish Lions back in 2017, Faletau was preferred as a starter mostly, while Stander was forced to settle with a spot on the bench.
Most importantly – Faletau started the Test matches, with Stander making the bench for the second and third and Tests.
But Stander gave Gatland something to think about today with this bump-off…
