Connacht and Ireland centre Bundee Aki looks set to move on at the end of the season, with his contract set to expire.
The 35-year-old centre missed the opening three rounds of the Six Nations through suspension, but made his return to action for Connacht in the URC last night.
Aki, who joined Connacht from the Chiefs way back in 2014, is a legend at the province and has been a key figure for Ireland since making his debut back in 2017.
The powerful centre has 68 caps for Ireland and went on the last two Lions tours, featuring in the Test series on both occasions.
He has been linked with big-money moves to France in the past, but it appears he’ll be hopping over the Atlantic to play in the English Prem next season, with several clubs chasing his signature.
According to RugbyPass, Newcastle Red Bulls, Leicester Tigers, and Saracens could all be in the market for Aki, who would be 37 by the time the World Cup in Australia comes around.
Aki has been an incredible servant to Irish Rugby and will no doubt be missed.
