You can’t beat a bit of banter between Leinster & Munster.
Conor Murray definitely didn’t expect this brilliant response to a tweet from none other than Brian O’Driscoll himself today. Murray posted a tweet, promoting a Munster competition to win a signed Irish jersey by him by tweeting your favourite Munster moment using the hashtag #munsterrising.
O’Driscoll spotted the tweet and decided to respond with his favourite moment and it was absolutely brilliant.
We’re still waiting to see a response from Murray, and in case anyone has forgotten… Croke Park 09 is a reference to Leinster’s demolition of Munster in the Heineken Cup semi-final, in which the men in blue won by 25-6 in front of a record-breaking crowd of 82,208.
