The British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand has been cancelled.
Lions officials have revealed that they have decided to cancel all plans of a tour to New Zealand as they’ve come to the conclusion that they’re gonna get absolutely battered by the world champions, and it’s best they ‘leave it off’
Lions CEO John Feehan released the following statement,
“After much deliberation and lengthy discussions with Warren Gatland and representatives of the four unions, we’ve decided to cancel all plans of a tour of New Zealand, because let’s be honest with ourselves here, we’ll only end up getting absolutely battered.”
“After watching the opening three rounds of the Rugby Championship, we became worried about the players potential welfare against the All Blacks and decided evasive action was necessary. Did you see what they did to Australia?”
The Lions are now expected to go on a tour of Japan. Warren Gatland was unavailable for comment.*
