Human after all.
New Zealand maintained their 100% record at the Rugby World Cup so far with an absolute demolition of Canada this morning.
The reigning champions made light work of a hapless Canada side, running in nine tries in a 63-0 annihilation with the likes of Sonny Bill Williams, Jordi Barrett and Rieko Ioane among the scorers.
Two-time World Player of the Year Beauden Barrett also got himself on the scoresheet with a first-half try but should have had at least two. With the clock in red, Barrett used his signature speed to tear through the Canadian defence before proving he’s actually human.
With the nearest Canadian defender still several metres away from him – Barrett fumbled the ball in what is, without doubt, the biggest calamity of the World Cup so far. He won’t want to see this one again!
