Taking his chance.
Ireland will be hugely pleased with their first-half performance, as they go in leading 14-0 at half-time against the Springboks here at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Three penalties from Johnny Sexton, and a try from Munster winger Andrew Conway means Ireland are on course to get their season off to a winning start. Conway has been particular impressive, taking his chance in the absence of provincial teammates Keith Earls and Simon Zebo.
The winger has made 75 metres off 6 runs, making 2 clean breaks and beating 2 defenders along with his try. Conway has been excellent for Munster over the last couple of seasons, and finally looks set to get a run of games going with Ireland.
If he keeps playing like this, there’s absolutely no doubt he will become a mainstay with Zebo in exile.
