Long-time Ulster target Victor Vito has revealed that he will join La Rochelle next season.
Ulster boss Les Kiss revealed last week that the province would be announcing some big name signings in the coming weeks but Vito, capped 33 times with New Zealand, will not be one.
He said: “Firstly, for Franco to stay another year, it’s fantastic. He’s been a great clubman in his couple of years here. He’s very professional and he’s helped out a lot of young lads.
“We’ve had recently the addition of Kieran Treadwell who’s a very good signing for us and the addition of Rodney Ah You.
“We’ve retained the majority of players, if not all the players that we wanted to keep. So, our roster is strong.
“There’s a couple more announcements to be made over the next few weeks. Maybe in two, four, five weeks. We’d hope that people are very excited by what we have coming up. We think it’s exciting.
“So, watch this space.”
