Leinster ran out 30-23 winners over Edinburgh at the RDS last night, denting the Scottish side’s hopes of Champion Cup qualification.
The talking point of the game however was Fergus McFadden’s horror tackle on Edinburgh back Damien Hoyland. McFadden put a monster hit it on the winger in the 77th minute, almost decapitating him in the process.
McFadden somehow managed to escape with just a penalty, leaving many fans, including Leinster fans- in absolute shock that he escaped a card. McFadden may yet have to deal with the citing commissioner once he has analysed the clip.
