CJ Stander is quickly becoming an iconic Irish name.
He may have been born and raised in South Africa but the Munster man has been adopted by Ireland. The flanker has been a revelation at this year’s Six Nations, starting all five games including a man of the match performance against Wales on his debut.
Stander was not only won over Irish hearts with his performances but with his personality as well. When Irish eyes witnessed Stander belt out Amhrán na bhFiann they knew they were witnessing the beginning of something special. What an absolute legend.
