Sonny Bill Williams is currently taking a break from the 15-a-side game in a bid to win an Olympic Gold medal this summer with the New Zealand sevens team.
The two-time Rugby World Cup winner took a season-long break with Super Rugby franchise the Chiefs in a bid to go all the way at Rio 2017. The former league start has been linked with a move back to the code with the Roosters along with a host of other top Southern Hemisphere club.

Mathieu Bastareaud rumoured to be taking a year long sabbatical in Japan from January 2017 so we could see Ma’a Nonu and Sonny Bill reunited in the centre next season in what would no doubt be the most lethal midfield combination in club rugby.
