The former Ireland and Munster outhalf has been linked with a number of coaching positions in recent months with both country and province but news has broke today that the Corkman has signed on with Racing for another three years.
O’Gara began as kicking and skills coach with the French giants in 2013 and has already worked his way up to defence coach in the past couple of years. It will be interesting to see if he can step up further with the Parisian club in the next three years as he will remain at the club until June 2019 at the very least.
One thing’s for sure- O’Gara is learning his trade in the most professional manner possible and there’s no doubt in our minds he will end up at either Munster or Ireland in the not too distant future.
