Not all men can be bought.
It was reported this morning that Wallaby flanker David Pocock has been mulling over several offers from Top 14 clubs including Bordeaux Bégles, Toulouse, Racing 92 and Toulon.
L’Equipe have now reported that Pocock has decided remain in Australia with the Brumbies. Pocock has not yet gained the 60 caps necessary to continue representing Australia while playing abroad and apparently he chose to turn down what were no doubt lucrative offers in order to continue representing his country.
Pocock has previously stated that he will announce his decision before the Super Rugby season begins in February so we expect an official announcement in the coming weeks.
