According to the Irish Independent, Ulster are in the market for a number eight to replace Nick Williams at the end of this season and Les Kiss is eyeing up Victor Vito. The 28 year old has lost his regular starting spot for the All Blacks but he was still a rather decent option from the bench for Steve Hansen during the Rugby World Cup.
There’s sure to be plenty of competition from Top 14 sides but it seems Ulster are in a financial position to make challenge anyone. With fellow All Black Charles Piutau also heading for Ravenhill at the end of the season, it’s certainly conceivable that Vito could be tempted by what Ulster have to offer.
