Toulon already have the likes of Matt Giteau, Drew Mitchell, Ma’a Nonu and Leigh Halfpenny on their books and they might be about to bring in another superstar.
According to Midi Olympique, having been rebuffed in his approach for Wallaby Israel Folau, Toulon owner Mourad Boujdellal has set his sights on securing the services of the World Cup’s top try scorer – Julian Savea. Midi reports that Toulon are looking to sign Savea on a short six-month deal so that he can return to New Zealand in time for the 2016 international season.
