Stuart Lancaster’s future as England head coach is looking more uncertain every day since his side crashed out of the World Cup at the group stages.
The latest person to criticise him (who wishes to be unnamed), is one of his World Cup players.
The player is quoted in the Mirror lifting the lid on the players attitude towards the coach, saying that the majority of players in the squad had little respect for him as he’d achieved nothing in the game.
He did nothing as a player, some of the lads called him the PE teacher as he looked and acted like your old school coach.
He also hit out at Lancaster’s poor man management after a pre season tour seemed to divide the team rather than bring it closer together.
Usually rugby squads have a space where they can relax and bond, but this didn’t happen. It was a collection of individuals and small cliques.
Lancaster wasn’t the only one to be criticised by the disgruntled player, team captain and bearer of lots of blame, Chris Robshaw was also on the receiving end of a tongue lashing.
He (Robshaw) isn’t the best player in his position in the country, let alone the world. He relied on his trusted players like Ben Morgan and Chris (Robshaw), even though they were injured or there were better people playing in their positions.
We’re sure this isn’t the last we’ll hear of this.
