Conor Murray is the latest player to player to pay his own tribute to the injured Paul O’Connell, describing the honour to play with a childhood hero.
O’Connell’s Ireland career came to a premature end at the Millennium Stadium last Sunday, with a hamstring injury meaning the giant Munster lock will not get the opportunity to add to his 108 caps.
With injuries mounting and Sean O’Brien suspended, Joe Schmidt’s side have been dealt big blows ahead of Sunday’s quarter-final clash with World Cup foes Argentina.
Murray took to Instagram today to post pictures with his fellow Limerick man for at both provincial and international level and paid tribute to one of the great leaders in world rugby.
