It’s been a difficult few days to be an Irish fan. The highs of demolishing the French in Cardiff, mixed in with the lows of injuries and citing’s galore.
News broke this morning that Ireland’s favourite warrior and captain has played his final game for his country following a devastating hamstring injury.
Not too long ago Ireland lost one of the world’s greatest in Brian O’Driscoll. O’Driscoll however had the fairytale send off with a Six Nations title and a stirring performance. The man himself managed to sum up how the entire nation feels today with this tweet.
