Legend.
England internationals Tom Curry, Manu Tuilagi, Ben Youngs and Joe Marler appeared on the Jonathan Ross show last night to explain their Haka challenge last month and there were plenty of laughs.
England infamously stood in a ‘flying v’ formation as New Zealand performed the Haka in last month’s Rugby World Cup semi-final and were later fined by World Rugby for going over the halfway line.
Manu Tuilagi said England wanted to show New Zealand they were “ready” for the challenge.
“It’s a war dance. You need a response to it. That’s what we did to show them we were ready,” Tuilagi said.
But according to scrumhalf Ben Youngs – the original plan was a semi-circle but some players got confused!
“We met the night before, planned it the night before. We said look it is a challenge, we want to face the challenge and make sure they know we are up for it,” Youngs said.
“We said let’s get a semi-circle and a few lads were confused by that.”
Joe Marler then stole the show with some hilarious comments. Have a watch below.
