Australia sent England packing with a 33-13 win last night in Pool A to set up a mouthwatering pool-topper against Wales next week.
The Wallabies dismantled England in just about every department – with the breakdown being a turnover-fest for the outstanding duo of David Pocock and Michael Hooper.
The star however was Wallaby out-half Bernard Foley. He ran in two technically beautiful tries and kicked another 18 points from the tee.
England lock Joe Launchbury had a decent game – 13 tackles landed, 33 metres made off six carries, one clean break – but even he looked bemused after he was named man-of-the-match.
