Wow.
The Hurricanes handed New Zealand rivals the Highlanders their first loss of the 2018 Super Rugby season this morning in a cracker at Westpac Stadium in Wellington.
The Canes took the lead early in the first half thanks to excellent try from playmaker Beauden Barrett before the Highlanders fought back through Waisake Naholo.
Ben Lam then got on the scoresheet for the home side who took a 12-5 lead in at half-time. But just four minutes into the second-half that man Naholo bagged his second with some footballing skills down the wing to give his side the lead.
Jordi Barrett then put the Canes back in front with a monster 50m penalty, before replacement Vince Aso came off the bench and completely swung the momentum with an incredible finish in the corner.
Ben Lam grabbed a second soon after, with the Hurricane’s winning out 29-12 in the end.
This is just plain ridiculous.
