Twickenham Showdown.
Australian referee Angus Gardner will take charge of Ireland’s crucial Grand Slam clash with England at Twickenham on Saturday afternoon.
The Super Rugby referee is highly-rated, and has been working as a full-time referee since 2015, having picked up a whistle for the first time at just 15 years-of-age.
He will be assisted by South Africans Jaco Peyper and Marius van der Westhuizen. New Zealander Ben Skeen will be the Television Match Official (TMO) on the day.
Ireland are slight favourites with bookies for the fixture. Joe Schmidt’s men have already secured the championship, but will be hoping they can claim their first Grand Slam since 2009.
England meanwhile have never lost at home under the guidance of Eddie Jones.
