Clermont winger David Strettle has agreed a one-year deal to move back to England with his former club Saracens.
The former Harlequins star spent five seasons at Saracens, before moving to France three years ago with Clermont where he’s become a crowd favourite.
Strettle however, has been unable to agree terms on a new deal with Clermont, and despite interest from Pat Lam’s cash-rich Bristol, will return to his former club.
The former England wing said the Aviva Premiership club “always had a place in my heart.”
