Not fazed.
All Blacks playmaker Beauden Barrett has hit back at his critics over his goal kicking after a recent poor run of form from the tee. Barrett missed a large number of kicks in the three Test series with the Lions, leading to a number of question marks.
Speaking to media today, Barrett fired back at his critics and ended any speculation that the missed kicks were affecting him ahead of the opening Test of the Bledisloe Cup in Sydney this weekend.
“I’ve been goal-kicking since I was six years old,” Barrett said.
“I’ve always been analysing my technique and it’s no different to any other skill set.”
“I’m excited about working on various areas of my game, and I’m excited about this weekend.”
