Wasps’ season took another setback as Exeter captain Gareth Steenson kicked 15 points to keep his side’s hopes of reaching the semi-finals of the LV= Cup alive with a 30-16 victory.
Playing against an out-of-form Wasps side, who were effectively out of the competition even before kick-off, the Chiefs were dominant at the scrum and showed more of a cutting edge in attack.
The game itself though did have a moment to behold from Wasps. Elliot Daly while clearing his lines, kicks the ball and gets it straight into a bin on the sideline. We don’t think he meant it, but it looks pretty cool all the same!
