One month to go.
The RBS Six Nations is just one month away. The northern hemisphere’s very best will battle it out this year with a bonus-point system in place for the very first time as they bid to become the 2017 champions.
Grand Slam holders England head into the tournament once again as favourites after an unbeaten 2016, but will have Joe Schmidt’s Ireland hot on their heals after an impressive November series that saw them beat Australia and New Zealand.
Vern Cotter will be hoping to bow out as Scotland manager with a good run after impressive also in Autumn while Wales will be hoping to bounce back from a relatively disappointing run in November under interim boss Rob Howley.
This year’s tournament has added spice in the form of Lions tour hopefuls. A Lions year always brings out the best in the players as they bid to impress Warren Gatland and secure a spot on the plane to New Zealand.
It’s going to be an absolute cracker and we cannot wait.
