Munster will open their Champions Cup account this weekend against Top 14 champions Racing 92 in Paris.
The southern province head into the game on the back of a disappointing loss to Leinster this past weekend, a game that looks to have cost Munster more than just points.
The Limerick duo of Dave Kilcoyne and Keith Earls both went off injured during the game with concussions, while Kilcoyne’s replacement, James Cronin yesterday received a four week ban for stamping on Leinster’s Jamison Gibson-Park during the game.
Kilcoyne trained with the squad today and a final decision on his availability for Sunday’s clash in France will be made tomorrow, however Keith Earls took no part in today’s session and Director of Rugby Rassie Erasmus has admitted that Earls is an injury worry for the Racing match.
Erasmus will no doubt be sweating on the fitness of both players heading into his biggest game so far as Munster Rugby boss.
