Welsh Media Pick Combined Ireland & Wales Team

What do you think of this?

Popular Welsh outlet WalesOnline have had a go at picking a combined Ireland and Wales XV ahead of their crucial Six Nations encounter next Friday.

By their own high standards Wale have had a disappointing Six Nations thus far, with just one win in three. Their only win so far came against Italy on the opening day, and a far from impressive one at that, unable to secure a bonus-point- the only not to do so against O’Shea’s men so far.

Ireland meanwhile begun their Six Nations with a loss to Scotland, but showed a lot of positive signs, unlucky to lose out in the end. They’ve since gone on to secure an impressive nine-try, try bonus win over Italy, before comfortably beating the French this past weekend.

Based on how both teams have performed up until now, here’s the combined XV.
