Pecking order.
Eddie Jones’ England are set to drop down to fourth in World Rankings when they are released on Monday, following their 42-39 defeat to the Springboks in Johannesburg.
England have not lost their last four Test matches in-a-row, as well as their recent humiliation at the hands of the Barbarians in Twickenham.
Their defeat coupled with Australia’s win over Ireland in Brisbane sees Michael Cheika’s side leapfrog England into 3rd place. Ireland remain in second place, but are in threat of being overtaken by the Wallabies if they suffer another defeat next weekend.
Elsewhere Fiji are up to ninth in the world, while Argentina drop to tenth following their surprise defeat to Wales.
And here's how the World Rankings will look when released on Monday after all these results (give or take a decimal point due to rounding).@RugbyAUS up to 3rd. @RugbyFJI_ up to 9th.#rugby #rugbyunited #rugbyfamily #rankings pic.twitter.com/MEpLiGMZF4
