WATCH: Jerry Flannery Was Mic’d Up Again For Munster’s Game Against Zebre

Mic’d up.

Munster recovered well on Saturday night after a poor opening 40 minutes against bottom of the conference Zebre at Thomond Park.

The spirited Italian side shot into a 12-0 lead inside the opening 20 minutes with tries from Jamie Elliott and Roberto Tenga to leave the Limerick crown in complete shock. But Munster fought back thanks to a try from Jeremy Loughman just before the break to shorten Zebre’s lead to just 7 points.

Rhys Marshall then levelled things up on 54 minutes before late tries from Mike Haley, Darren Sweetnam and Niall Haley put some gloss on the scoreline with Munster securing a 31-12 victory in the end.

Before the game TG4 once again brought some excitement to their coverage, with Jerry Flannery mic’d up for the second time this season during the warm-up. The former Munster hooker, turned forwards coach can be heard giving prop Loughman some advice, before going through the motions with CJ Stander.
